Toman’s King Camp

Located about 30 miles up the Nushagak River from the town of Dillingham, AK and about 330 miles Southwest of Anchorage, AK, Toman’s King Camp boasts some of the most productive king salmon fishing anywhere.

What can you expect

After you getting to Anchorage, AK you will board a plane to Dillingham Alaska where a representative from Toman’s King Camp will greet you and help you gather your luggage.

Depending on transportation options at that time, you and your luggage will be escorted to either a next-door aircraft hanger with a charter plane or to a boat that will take you to our camp. Once there you will be assigned accommodations and depending on the time of your arrival, we will get you something to eat and out on the water to begin fishing and catching salmon.

How many fish can I keep?

You are allowed to keep up to 1 adult King per day (over 28 inches) according to the Alaska Department of Fish & Game Regulations and can take home 4 from the Nushagak per year. That being said, you can fish for as many as you would like as long as you release the fish your don’t keep and make sure you don’t take them out of the water when unhooking them.

How much is a Fishing License & King Stamp

The price of your fishing license depends on how long you intend to fish and if you are a resident or not. Since 95% or more of our guest are non-residents of Alaska, we will quote the non-resident prices.

YOUR LICENSE AND KING STAMP ARE INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE PRICE!
(so don’t worry about buying your license and stamp before coming unless you plan on doing additional fishing in Alaska beyond your time here at our King Camp on the Nushagak)

I have fished with Bob & Jeremy Toman at Toman’s on the Nushagak River for several years and have caught more salmon with them on a single day than anywhere else in the world, and I have fished all over for a profession! We filmed a few documentaries there because the fishing was so good.

Having fished with several outfitters on the Nushagak River, I found the best place was with Toman’s King Camp. Their accommodations are comfortable, the food is excellent, the guides are fantastic, but more than anything, the people and atmosphere are the best on the river.

Dave Sprague

Realator

I spent the entire summer with my dad Sam Potter fishing all over Alaska from Southeast to Bristol Bay and may places in-between and I can say that I had the most amount of fun and caught the most fish while fishing with Bob Toman at his camp on the Nushagak in Alaska.
